Study: Calliarthron tuberculosum transcriptome of environmentally sampled whole tissue
show Abstracthide Abstract
Calliarthron tuberculosum is a calcifying red alga. The genus Calliarthron has lignin polymers within its cell wall, representing the first evidence of lignin in red algae. Transcriptome assembly and shallow genome assembly allowed us to identify candidate genes underlying lignin biosynthesis in this organism.
Sample: Calliarthron tuberculosum Transcriptome PTM2
